Mackenzie's 1st Day Of School!

Today is the day Kenzi has been waiting for, for years. Her first day of Kindergarten. She was so excited we had to practically bribe her into letting me take her to school instead of her just riding the bus. When you look at the last picture notice that poor little girl crying next to her...not Kenz, she had NO problem saying goodbye to her poor Mom:(

Ben and I recently had a boys weekend alone...

Another trip to the beach...Destin this time

So last year I got a crazy hair and actually said yes to a time share discount vacation...yes, yes I know. Either way it was for 4 days three nights for $99.

A couple of weeks ago Will and I started planning for my birthday which is at the end of March. So we called to set up the trip and they said they had been bought out and blah blah blah blah...to make a long story short we had to to take our vacation by Feb 28th. It's a good thing we called when we did or we would have lost our trip.

Will did allot of ranting over this mishap on their part...yay Will and they put us up in their nicest hotel, the Hilton in Destin, FL, right on the beach. It was overcast most of the time warm and so much fun. We swam, laid on the beach, swam, slept, swam...did I mention that we swam?

Soccer Time

Makenzie started soccer a couple weeks ago. Here she is practicing in her new get up. I want you to notice two things here.

Here he goes again....

Sorry, Will has yet again posted a picture and you don't have any idea what it is. This one is especially scary since there are guns just layed out ready to shoot.
This is actually our friend Scott and this morning they went shooting along with Jim (another friend) to a shooting range...hence the guns;)

Summertime in the winter:)

Will is doing a job in Pace, FL and that is about 40 min away from Pensacola, FL. So this last he had to go we got to go with him. We got a hotel room right on the beach. The weather was mild and the view was awesome. We only went for a day but it was so much fun!

We stopped at a gas station as we entered FL and there were roosters all over the place...weird!

Last weekend we had fun (especially the kids) over at my dads. They had a campfire and the kids toasted marshmallows.
